What better way to celebrate turning ONE, than to do a Unicorn Theme Cake Smash Session!
Here are some adorable first birthday portraits of Baby R, who recently celebrated with a stylized cake smash photoshoot at my Toronto studio.
I was able to capture one of those first milestones on camera: first experience eating cake with a stylized Unicorn theme, followed by bubble bath to clean-up in a pink tub surrounded by flowers… Creating those one of a kind memories!
I just adore Baby R in all of these photos…her entire gallery makes me smile. She was a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up once we brought out the cake and smiled for the rest of the session. Every detail was carefully planned and coordinated - the gold unicorn horn headband, rosette covered pastel pink cake matched with pink and gold tassel garland. What a fun cake smash session it was!

I really love the composition and the way she's totally crawling away from the cake in one of the shots. Haha. This is honestly such a great way to immortalize and capture memories of a kid's first birthday. If I ever become a mom, I'm totally coming to you to take pictures of my children as they grow up.
