I wanted to share some images from a recent maternity photoshoot that I did for this stunning mom-to-be. Helga came to my studio looking for newborn and maternity fine art portraits and we talked about her vision of having elegant and magical portraits to capture her last month of pregnancy. She wanted both sessions to be documented in one of my signature albums with both her pregnancy and newborn photos together to tell a story. We talked about the options and I was thrilled when she said she wanted to do them outside, so we planned her maternity portrait session at a local park during golden hour to get that last bit sunshine, just before sunset.
I wanted to create a unique but unforgettable experience for Helga. I wanted her feel pampered, gorgeous, yet relaxed for the entire session. All of my maternity sessions include professional make-up application and a selection of the most stunning maternity gowns for my clients to wear during their session. Its truly a goddess experience.
I had a professional make-up artist go to her house to do her make up so it would be more convenient for her and then we met at the park for her portraits. I brought a selection of my maternity gowns and she choose her favourite three to wear - she looked absolutely exquisite! The flowers at the park were just stating to bloom and the soft golden sun made it all so magical - we even saw a few rabbits at the park. Her mom and friends came along to watch and it was one of those sessions I wish would never end, but alas the sunset and it was too dark to continue. Helga is such a beautiful soul - I can't wait to capture her newborn and family photos in a few weeks.
